After hiking Camelback hundreds of times without knowing how fast people reach the summit, I created ClimbCamelback.com in 2007 for climbers to post their times. When not leading guided hikes I'm a part-time
marathon coach for Team In Training - Go team! I love
traveling and my favorite experiences were backpacking 5 months in South America and attending grad school in Australia. I
enjoy learning about people and their experiences while

I grew up in the Minneapolis MN area and lived there most of my life. I decided that winters weren’t for me anymore so I moved to AZ in 2008. I immediately made a commitment to myself to get in better shape and I found hiking to be a great way to do it...and the scenery is spectacular.
